Our Team
Founded by Fernando Romero Blanco in 1980, this law firm has developed a great specialization in different areas of criminal, civil, procedural, contentious-administrative, corporate and commercial law, which has led it to reach a high professional level, highlighting both immediacy as direct and personalized attention to the specific case.
From its origins, the idea that presides over this firm is the exercise of a vocational law, as a social function, with the maximum involvement in the entrusted matters, as well as a deep study of the law that each matter requires.

Fernando Romero Blanco
Founding partner of FRB Lawyers, he graduated from the University of Granada in 1980. Member number 1868 of the ICAGR.
His more than forty years of professional practice endorse him and guarantee his specialty in the areas of criminal law, civil law and commercial law.
Fernando Romero is a renowned lawyer who embraces the problems of his clients and fights to the end for their interests.
He speaks fluent English.
Mercedes López Cantón
Graduated in Law from the Law School of Granada and has been a practicing lawyer since 1989, member number 2783 of the Granada Bar Association. She has taken different specialization courses in matters such as Registry and Mortgage Law, Urban Planning and Construction Law, and has extensive professional experience in civil, criminal and contentious-administrative courts that support her more than 30 years of professional practice.
In addition, she has acted as a court-appointed accountant in probate litigation and liquidation of matrimonial property regimes. She has also been judicially appointed arbitrator for the resolution of conflicts between parties.
Lawyer very involved in defending the practice of law and especially the professional practice provided in the Office Shift and in the Free Legal Assistance Service, currently forming part of the Board of Directors of the Office Shift Group of the Illustrious Bar Association from Granada.
Since 2007, she has been a member of the organizing team of the Jurisprudence Forum of the Courts of Granada, a forum for debating sentences that is organized annually by the Foundation for Legal Studies and Practices of Granada.
Isabel Romero Contreras
Lawyer specializing in family, criminal and banking law, she graduated from Granada University, after three years of studies at ICADE and one at Cardiff Law School (Wales, United Kingdom), and since then she has been self-taught and constant responding to his passion for the most social and human branch of Law.
Passionate about the protection of children’s rights, she has specialized in family procedures, prioritizing the welfare of minors in all her cases.
She is fluent and technical in English and French.
Isabel Romero is currently patron of the Granada Educa Foundation, representative of the families and a member with voice and vote in the decision-making bodies of said Public Foundation; she and President of the Platform SÍ 0-6 Granada, established in defense of the rights of early childhood in our city of Granada.
